The Art of Philip K. Dick Covers

Thanks to the children of Philip K. Dick, world-famous science-fiction writer and creator of futuristic worlds such as Blade Runner (based on Dick's novel, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?) and Total Recall (based on We Can Remember It for You Wholesale), we've got an amazingly comprehensive site dedicated to his life work of futuristic novels, stories, and essays.

Check out the amazingly varied interpretations of his novels via this ever growing collection of over 650 PKD book covers contributed from fans around the world.

Muy Tiki Bongo!

El Estratografico has an awesome Flickr set of Vintage 45 Covers that must be seen! - case and point, from the Spanish Microwatt label, this muy bonito 1962 Flexidisc cover for Michelin... I'd love to have the audio from this.

Very nice!

And speaking of Tiki Bongo and Cha Cha Cha... Dig the new single and my primitive keyboard skills, just in time for FIESTA down here in San Antonio: Totally Fiesta Cha Cha Cha.

Nice Color Palette Generator

Wow, get a load of this sweet Color Palette Generator!

Below is the color pallette it derived from the image of a proposed version of the "2008 Let's Go Nice!" travel book I'm working on as seen above.

This awesome little generator let's you enter the URL of an image to get a custom color palette that matches the image.

Just be sure to keep the file size of the image you upload under 150kb and you're good to go!

Whether you're a web designer, painter, an interior person or anyone that simply digs color harmony, I think you'll like this.

In the right hands, this is a super nice, smart and powerful little information tool - so why not use it. Although not totally perfect yet, it's a great start.

If this was mine I'd sell it to flickr - a perfect place for a tool like this to live.
