Terminus!
Absolutely Brilliant!
What happens when a concrete man approaches an unsuspecting metro rider? Terminus! This 8-minute gem of a film was made by 33-year-old Canadian director Trevor Cawood, with a crew no larger than seven people.
“I like psychological films,” says Cawood. “Films that comment on who we are, and how we got there."
Bigtime thanks to Spy Films and Wired for sharing Effects-Heavy Shorts Show Off Directors’ Chops.
Totally genius!

Moving Titles

I'm always a sucker for smart and visually interesting title design. Equally fascinating to me is the process and thinking behind the creation of these opening and closing sequences. If you're as easily sucked in as I am then you'll dig this amazing source of inspiration for motion graphics and title sequences: Art Of The Title.

Mitten
More like smitten - I love this! There's nothing like watching a movie on a rainy day! Check out this sweet little 10 minute film: Vareshka/Варежка (Mitten)
Made in 1967 for the Russian film house Soyuzmultfilm by Roman Kachanov.
And if you want more ultra sweetness with a puppy theme you dig this earlier post:
Dog Visit.
Have a great weekend!
